Growing up in poverty is daunting. But it taught me a lot of life lessons. I grew up being resilient, hardworking, mentally, and emotionally strong which forged me to face all kinds of battles in life. My parents don't have enough money to send me to university but I am thankful to my sister who helped me finance my schooling so I can finish my degree in Accountancy. To reciprocate my sister's kindness, I became the family's breadwinner and helped my younger brother in his schooling. I was fortunate to land a job in the local government but salary is just enough to get by. I worked overseas in the Middle East as an Accountant in a Swiss-based Hotel for several years until my wife sponsored me to come to Canada in 2012. I started from scratch when I arrived here as most employers did not accept my credentials so I ended up on survival jobs like janitorial work, construction, cashier, produce clerk, and Building Superintendent. It was divergent from what I used to do.

But the breakthrough came to me in 2015 when Insurance Industry was introduced to me. I just had my first child during that time and I am looking for income opportunities so I could provide for my growing family. To earn more money, I worked part-time as an insurance advisor, drove Uber, and did apartment painting on the side to save money to buy a house. We moved to London, Ontario in 2018 and landed a job in a meat factory working the night shift, having to drive Uber in the morning and do part-time as an insurance agent just to pay the mortgage. Working 3 jobs took a toll on my body. Every day is so exhausting to me. I only have one child and I couldn't find time to spend with her which breaks my heart.

In early 2019, I realized I was making more money in my part-time insurance business than my full-time job so I decided to go full-time advisor with Greatway Financial. And it was one of the best decisions I ever made in my life. It gave me time freedom and flexibility. I now have more time for my family especially to my only child. Being hugged by your child during pick and drop at school is the best feeling ever.

Greatway has made so many changes in my personal growth and family lifestyle. With all the training and personal development seminars Greatway bestowed on us, I became a better version of myself. My family lifestyle changed significantly as we were able to travel together and got to enjoy the beauty of other nations. Has been qualified multiple times for free cruises and retreats provided by Greatway.
